Apple announced Mac OS X El Capitan in the recent WWDC. The latest OS X 10.11 will be launched by fall for public. Beta version is already rolled out. If you have Mac, you will be able download and install Mac OS X El Capitan only if the hardware is supported. But don't worry, almost all the Macs from the past 5-6 years will support the latest OS X. Apple is giving a loose system requirement to inculcate maximum users. If you're running Lion (10.7) or Mountain Lion (10.8), you will need to upgrade to El Capitan (10.11) first. If you don't have broadband access, you can upgrade your Mac at any Apple Store.
